Summer Fun

Its been a while since I've posted anything....not because I don't have lots to say its just that we've been busy with VBS, a week at my parents and sickness! VBS was great. We had about 130 kids each day in our area and around 750 kids for all of VBS. It was so great to see the kids having a good time and enjoying themselves. After VBS we went to my parents house for a week while Mike was on his mission trip to Colorado with Sports Reach. Sat and Sun were fun and the kids were in the pool non stop but then Monday hit and it went downhill from there. Kendall woke up with the stomach virus and was sick all day and into Tuesday. She got better and then Wednesday she started complaining about her ear. Well, I knew she didn't have an ear infection because I had taken her to the dr. on Tues and they had checked. We came home on Thurs and went to the dr. on Friday and she had swimmers ear. Her ear was swollen shut and that is why she was in so much pain. I felt so bad for her but she is doing great now. Back to normal and bossing Cameron around.

But before the last couple of weeks went by we were having even more fun. We went to the lake for Bobby's birthday with some other friends. It was lots of fun and great to get away for a weekend without the kids. Bobby is such a great guy and to pull this off without him knowing was awesome. He was truly surprised that all of us were there.
